Hide & Seek

In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم

We were supposed to be cleaning. I don't live in this house anymore but it's glorious to play games in - huge rooms, a bannister to slide down (which we all did, parents included) and corridors long enough for cycling (but I can't own to that as my mother will read this and plonk my head) - Salam My Mother. *acts innocent*

During a summer-autumn clear out my sister and I were distracted by the toys and furniture that were left behind in the house. Eventually eye-spy turned to guess that gujarati which in turn became 'hide and seek'.

The game didn't last very long

This picture always makes me laugh! It's not me ((the sister)) but it does show a fraction of the silly behaviour we inherited from our noble forefathers. Alhamdulillah... !

Talking of hide and seek - Imogen Heap's track with the same name is lovely ear candy.

Watch the veedeeooh on YouTube here.

>>>>>How was Kwissmass celebrated around your 'hood? I'm in a mostly Christian-Indian environment so parties and lights were around. It was nice to see people uniting (over a sham) so masha'Allah at that!<<<<<

Anywho... WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE CHILDHOOD GAME?

  1. First up - We played PITU. A game of knocking & restacking a pile of stones with a ball, before the opposing team caught you out.

Kinda like Dodgeball + Tag + Jenga... But more gritty. =/

    TWAS FUN! Alhamdulillah.

lol so who's that unsuccessfully trying to turn herself invisible in the pic?

lesse, when i was younger i played a lot of games...one particular favourite had a lot of running around in circles and screaming and it usually ended by crashing into walls and other such obstacles. i don't remember the name specifically but i DO know it involved A LOT of sugar.

^^ have a great week and salam
