Samir Nasri's "Eid Mubarak" Celebration After Scoring Against Southampton

Monday, 20 August 2012

In the name of God, Compassionate, Merciful بسم الله الرحمن الرحيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم

I'm gonna be honest with you. I have no idea who Samir Nasri is. I  dislike the fellowship cult of football with the same dislike I have towards rubbing salt into an open wound. I don't even know why Manchester City and *United haven't started their own religion yet.

Then I saw a bunch of Muslim men jump in the air when Samir Nasri scored the third goal in the match against 'Soton'. It took me 15 seconds to figure out that stood for Southampton. And then I paid attention. It is only a t-shirt with the words 'Eid Mubarak' but it's a nice televised gesture towards the faith of a couple million British Muslims.

As the youf' have been caught saying, that was epic blad. Ma-sha-Allah.
