Hahahhahahhahahhahahhahahhaha. Sadly, this is a reflection of our Indo-Pak culture. It is true, we do marry the entire family, so they might be feeling they are participants as well, or if they played a role in bringing the two people together. In the end, though, it's the bride and groom that have to live with each other, insha'allah, til their last days and not the extended family and friends - with all due respect and humility -they should give the couple their space as is appropriate while keeping their place in the larger scheme of things and down the line, they will probably be in a better place when the marriage enters its mature years. Point being, if it's purely their choice, it doesn't do their child any good in the long run.
Love the comics Zaufishan dear - keep them coming!!! They rock!
