An Indian, A Nun, And A Hijabi
© Zaufishan 2011. "An Indian, A Nun, And A Hijabi." A few previews.
Design work commissioned by a UK broadcasting organisation that's looking at the various head coverings in tradition. We find a multitude of cultural coverings that are stipulated as part of custom law or celebratory and as signs of authority, these are found in almost every country and throughout history.
Other head coverings show ranks, they are part of a uniform. Entering into a certain roles can have a condition, that you are 'expected to wear this'.
These are my drafts; the final publication is out around May in time for a conference so until then, your feedback is appreciated.
