RAMADAN & EID PRISON CAMPAIGN 2010

• Take only one minute from the 1440 minutes of your day and write a message of support showing the prisoners that the Muslim community cares.
• As part of the Eid gifts we send out to the 4,000 Muslim prisoners, we are hoping to include individualised messages of support.
• Write your message of support between 100 to 150 words and show the prisoners that the community really does care. The message can be something really simple or more detailed. You can also support the campaign financially by visiting the website given underneath.

CHARITY IFTAR FOR VICTIMS OF PAKISTAN FLOODS

• Date: Saturday 21st August 2010 Time: 7.00 pm
• Venue: Zaza's Restaurant, 108 Whitechapel Road, London, E1 1JE
• Many have described it as the worst floods in 100 years. May Allah (swt) ease the suffering of those in the affected area of Pakistan.
• An invitation to 100 people to book places for this charity iftar in conjunction with Muslim Aid. Looking beyond nationality to help those desperately in need. All welcome.

RAMADAN INTENSIVE TAJWEED COURSE FOR SISTERS

• Dates: Tuesday 17th August - Thursday 26th August 2010
• Time: 10.00 am - 1.00 pm (each day)
• Venue: 48 Micro Business Park, Greatorex Street, Whitechapel, London, E1 5NP
• An intensive Tajweed course for sisters delivered over a two week period. Classes take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, so there will be 6 classes in total. Beginner and Intermediate levels are catered for.
• Fees are £60 (employed) and £45 (unemployed). All sisters welcome.
