1960's Love: Sam Cooke, ♫ Wonderful World
In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم
Sam Cooke, the 'inventor of soul music', a legend. One of his most popular songs is Wonderful World from 1960. Aye laik it. Mostly because it lists all the high school subjects I liked. And because he says that other thing about a Wonderful World. But mostly because of trigonometry.
The Song Lyrics:
Don't know much about history
don't know much biology
don't know much about science book
don't know much about the french I took.
But I do know that I love you
and I know that if you loved me too.
What a wonderful world this would be.
Don't know much about geography
don't know much trigonometry
don't know much about algebra
don't know what a slide rule is for.
But I know that one and one is two
and if this one could be with you.
What a wonderful world this would be.
Now I don't claim to be an A student
but I'm tryin' to be.
Oh maybe by being an A student, baby
I can win your love for me.
Don't know much about history
don't know much biology
don't know much about science book
don't know much about the french I took.
But I do know that I love you
and I know that if you loved me too.
What a wonderful world this would be
But I do know that I love you
and I know that if you loved me too.
What a wonderful world this would be
Don't know much about history
don't know much biology
don't know much about science book
don't know much about the french I took.
Don't know much about history

don't know much about the french I took.
But I do know that I love you
and I know that if you loved me too.
What a wonderful world this would be

and I know that if you loved me too.

Aww, cool, sweet and fun song. The other"Wonderful World" song I like is the famous one by Lous Armstrong. - I see trees of green, red roses too, I see them blue, for me and you . . and I think to myself - what a wonderful world . . . . :-)
