Commission: Mercy Mankind

Last year I was approached by a wonderful member of the charitable organisation Mercy Mankind Intl., to design a promotional cartoon for their latest Clean Water for Bangladesh appeal.

I had some good ideas, but didn't want to create flamboyant images, therefore submitted a few simple sketches and one was chosen.

Personally I was not entirely happy with the look as it was 'depressing' and the small child appears ill, however it worked for the Mercy Mankind website and the brother who commissioned the design sent me thank yous and Divine chocolate. He is now in my Top 50 Favourite people.
