I was in my cave attempting to clean it and within a pile of books I found a really old Urdu/Farsi-To-English Dictionary (a prehistoric edition).
I love languages, I pick up random words (mostly insults) and add them to my colourful vocabulary. Flicking through the book I get to 'Z' and see Ziya, Zau... which means light, or radiant.
I flipped another page and THERE WAS MY NAME! Array, vah! (translated: awesome) I'm in the dictionary! So that is where my parents stole it from.
They told me it was meaningful, loving, and a product of great care and consideration. Little did I know they flipped to p. 183 and "eeny-meeny-miny-mo'd" anything out. Hmph.
Anyway, alhamdulillah. It's fantastic.
Zau-fee'shaan, زو فيشان, meaning to spread light. *Ting* ★
