My Halal Obsession for Shoes...

In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم

... Does not mean I wear flashy shoes which burn your eyes.
... Is so I can gain height over intimidating people.
... Does not include platforms, wedges, kinky boots, plastic stuff or appearance over comfort [strong hint at family members wishing to buy moi nue shues]
... Does include heels, knee high boots, ballet shoes, trainers (sneakers) grandma slippers and flip-flops (thongs...)
... Means I don't make a 'clicketing noise' like a horse or stampeding army, this is haram, really. "that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention" Quran, 24:31
... Also means I'm prepared to walk with elegance, run like a man on speed, slide on ice, and dart through crowds as though I were the female equivalent of Jason Bourne.

...It also means shoes like this, make my eyes googly for 20 seconds.

  3. I don't know how you ladies wear those heels (well the ones as high as in the picture). I know it's not why you want to wear them, but other, less modest women - to attract men while risking their health (of their feet at least). Just don't get it - it's sad. That is a cool pattern/design on that shoe though. Loved the Jason Bourne reference! hehe.
