Instructional mehndi tutorial, like, whatever.
In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم
Step-by-step of a mehndi design I was emailed; I adapted it for my man-hand. Woo.
Adding another circle around it (say it in an Iranian accent - SIRCAL) and add small curved petals.
Adding large petals around the 'sircal' with double lines to fill in...
The gap's filled in - onto add large leaf shapes around, two at each side.
Fill these leaves with a centre crease and veins (lines).
Go on to fill in spaces with swirls, small leaves and hearts or anything stupidly girly. (Below)
I added three swirls and dots on each fingertip and continued the swirls up one the index finger only.
The mehndi (henna) was left on for 5-6hrs (overnight) and washed away to leave a really dark orange colour. The henna I use darkens over time too, well pleased.
I'm chuffed with it, hamdulillah.
