Article2 on MIE

In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Peace be with you السلام عليكم

I promised the MuslimsInEngland.com owners one more article before I threw my virtual headscarf in and attempted other things. Lack of time & too many commitments means I can't stretch out that far, for I am a mere pixie.

If they publish the whole article wait for the future link. My chosen topic was 'SuperMuslims' = the average but superhuman individuals we meet who change our point of view and give us something better. Aptly titled the 'Unsung Hero' I for one am well chuffed with the final result. A quick comic strip-like cartoon was designed too to make my point visually. *grin*

"Deep in the British Suburbs MusalMan hears a racist chant..." "Cries from an abused woman triggers Muslim justice senses... 'beep! beep! ...beep!'"

Extract - "And 'who are these heroes?' you've finally squealed. When you've finished reading this you'll see the SuperMuslimness in the first Muslim you meet. Your mother is a Superhero from enshrouding her children in invisibility cloaks to protect them from unseen evils. Our heroic fathers are on missions 24 hours a day in emulating Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) wisdom, and splitting seas of anger like Hulk to lead calm paths for the future. Elasticated boys are superheroes, fast and entertaining, in their eyes are sparks and magic in their innocence, reminding older generations of lost happiness. The SuperMuslim is not gender biased: enigmatic girls live in colour and imaginative creations that outdo stories in age old literature. Their superhero powers could make evil high school bullies explode. I know. I saw one kaboom! once..."

Peace & respect.
